hey, i AM one of those local rightwingers, and i think the guy is doing the right thing. "undermining the president" is the last thing this will do, if anything it will allow the correct person(s) will be put into office, and a better report of how strongly backed they were will be availible.
If their 2008 paper trail is like the 2004 one, with ballots that have white stickers put over the kerry votes, then yeah, we might get pissy about it.
i oddly favor poll tests like that.
