I've just had a quick play around with it and have got this:
it's gonna be sweet!
shame the thread list is in a table and not floated elements though, means we can't move those things about.

Awesome! ![]()
Don't spend too much time on the CSS just yet as it's a moving target, But that is hella awesome.
As far as the forum/view thing since it is actually tabular data it makes sense to put it in a table. The forum_thread/view though is all divs

So when is the moving target going to take root?
I'm pretty excited to have a crack at this myself.

Right now I'm kinda 'in the zone' with the lucene port. I'm going to work on that for the next day or two and hopefully have a semi-working search by then. At that point I'll add the user control panel and then do one final cleanup of the styles/class names.
That said I've recently cleaned them up a bit so that you could start working with things now and they'd probably be pretty close to spot on

I can't find the post explaining how to go about this - it's a pretty nifty feature I'd like to explore more myself.
//edit
oh, duurrrrr, just saw the url setup in the user cp
ShEx 2005.06.03, 02:53PM —
I made a quick new one - for those people who are gonna miss the old 12s. It's a little rough around the edges, I haven't touched the user cp or anything so that probably looks a bit shonk. But it does seperate the posts like the old one, so some should like it

aw crap.
What's the url of the default? It doesn't go back to stinky's css when I remove shex's css link.
ShEx 2005.06.04, 11:20AM —
I've updated it bit, the reply box looks a bit more presentable and the user cp's not as painful on the eyes.
One problem, it looks like you're using the same classes for viewing pm's as you are for posts in threads. I can see why, but they're not displayed in the same context - in other words, i'm making excuses for whey they screw up with my stylesheet.
StinkFist 2005.06.04, 04:51PM —
Those are very good points
I'll try to clean up the stylesheets a bit

I've had a quick play around aswell... some parts aren't done but it works for the most of it
Oh, It'll look much better in FF or Mozilla or Safari etc than it will in IE.... so sue me

hey ShEx,
fancy making a CSS for PDA/smartphone based on the default Beta stylesheet? Shamed by Stmoo's super-funky phone I have upgraded my old POS to a sexy (but not as cool and sexy as Stmoo's) phone.
My screen size is 176px X 220px with a colour depth of 64k but something generic for small screens would be coolio.
Is it being cheeky to ask if there could be some sort of sniffer for PDA/smartphones and automagically use that style sheet rather than the one in the User CP?
Thanks.
