apologies for the big delay. A meeting had been arranged for me at parliament house to meet with state and local officials for them to address some serious environmental and state departmental management/administration issues. I needed to be properly prepared for this so there was lead-in prep as well as follow-up work after the meeting. Fortunately I also had some experienced people on side with me which made for a very positive outcome. I have also been head-hunted for an employment opportunity so there's a bit of research and negotiations going on with that.
Also a friend has asked for a hand with some business matters so there's some time devoted to that too.
Close friends offered us their unit down the gold coast so we spent the w/end there and caught up with other people we haven't seen for a long time. The weather was perfect and just what I needed to recharge the soul and take my mind off things at home.
For an ordinary bloke this is an extraordinary time and certainly keeps you on your toes - I wouldn't be dead for quids!
However, I do have half of my next volley completed and depending on what happens today/tomorrow hope to have it submitted here by tomorrow night.

onwards and upwards. I have a few idea's for a return but just need to make the time. The new job is keeping me away from home for long hours and private matters becoming very political with stakeholders cashing in on recent successes - there's no rest for the wicked.

very effective glitch

long hours at work and not much time at home to attend to the things that need it leave even less for this. I have taken a couple of pix to contribute towards my next volley. It's just a matter of having the time to try a few things out and put it all together.

Currently working over 60 hours a week plus travelling on top of that doesn't leave much time. Probably more the early starts that tire me out.

Thanks Walt. I probably should continue to battle as it is a good way to wind down and for me a great distraction from the days work but most times I end up nodding off just working on my emails regarding local issues that need to be resolved.
The work submitted in the Thunder Dome has always been inspirational, and like other visually appealing sights is all good karma so I still try to take a quick journey and check for the latest additions in this place.
