odd - that combined with its dodgy optics, really makes for a convincing antique photograph look.

Some really interesting shots there Persisto. Almost painterly.

Seriously, they look like weird old daguerrotypes. Serendipitous that you should have this at your disposal, it fits right in with your aesthetic...

Very early (among the first) photographic processes. Exposing directly to the final viewing surface - polished metal. The image was half negative, half positive - varying with the viewing angle.
