I think it was called hitbox or tunecube or something like that. It was released by a big label. You selected music genres by clicking on boxes that expanded into sub genres. By selected a genre it would add it to your music stack. You could share you favorites with others which could be viewed in the stack format and expanded etc.

I want to reference it in a doc I am working on but for the life of me cannot find it.

any ideas?

that's the one that keeps showing up but isn't the one I am thinking of. What I am looking for does the same thing but renders the different genres in a 3D cubical stack. I actually thought it was Sony. *shrugs*

I'll keep digging and will post it when I find it because I thought it was pretty cool.
