old jag plugin for pattern designers

I have no clue whether this might be helpful to anyone, but I saw it and saw initial possibilities. It's a plug in for Photoshop that does textile patterns.

For 295 dollars it had better be fucking brilliant.
Not much use unless you're doing digital output or film prints, and seeing as most of the industry is on plates with spot colours I can't see it being worth the money, really.

Something like this for illustrator would be cool, but photoshop? Not so much.

I use their kaleidoscope and weaver plug-ins a lot for producing patterns.

Could you, would you, with a goat?

I thought Symmetry was primarily an Illustrator plugin. I find it very cool, although the only time I used it is to make a design for ceramic plate that I have never painted yet smile . I am a web designer. The patterns are not in vogue right now. Anybody can point out a very cool page with extensive use of patterns?

For web design there's always squidfingers...

thank you for the links! Any examples of nice looking websites where the patterns are actually used and it's not a designer/fashion/band website?

I'll try and keep your request in mind as I browse today

found one - still "artsy site", but at least not a designer. Check out the gallery, I think it's amazing.

I wonder if using patterns implies "decorative" and therefore is not used in business type sites.
