Thanks guys! It was a great trip! I only visited Beijing while in China, but there's enough to do
there to keep you occupied for ages, even on a super tight budget. The first nine days I was by
myself and then meeting up with a friend later.

I soaked it all up and it was great, but I'm not sure if it was being alone for that long or
being tired towards the end of the trip but when I met up with my friend, SHE ANNOYED
THE COMPLETE SHIT OUT OF ME.

Some friends just aren't made for traveling with.

And I agree--some friends are just a complete drag to travel with--I dated a guy who was so wussy about being 'jetlagged' that we'd always miss half the trip while he moaned and slept.

Thanks for sharing! I'd love to visit China and/or Japan sometime. It's so different than what I'm used to it's like a completely different planet.
