I have a fairly large Flash project coming down the pipe and I've always wanted to support the fine Depot product. Is there any documentation so far for things to watch out for or what's supported from an AS3 perspective? Or am I just being silly in asking this because a Flash object is still a Flash object for Depot and AS3 is no different than AS2 for Depot.

Arsis, where are you mate or have you two pm'd already?
Have you had a look at the different examples Storm? I don't think that there's any AS3 specific stuff, it's as you say - ... Flash object is still a Flash object for Depot and AS3 is no different than AS2 for Depot.

Yeah, I've examined Depot pretty thoroughly when they released it and a bit more this month since taking on this larger project. I just didn't want to promise the client this fantastic product called Depot and then run into a small issue later on because something was different for AS3 byte codes or something.
But since neither Arse nor Stinky have visited my thread, I am going to go ahead with the presentation anyway. I'm not going to spam WFG just to get their attention.

Sorry Storm. Things are all a bit crazy at the Snepo offices at the moment and I just didn't notice the post till now (PMs I do notice).
As it stands there is no as3 implementation for Depot. We've made a bridge between as2/vm1 and as3/vm2 using a local connection but this is not a particularly clean approach.
I any case, I'm sure your classes will be abstracted out enough to simply switch between data stores

Thanks Arse. And you assume correctly, I don't even want to mess with the bridge connection.
Expect the $100 bucks when they sign the contract.
