Yeah, the ironic thing about the one on my site is that while it was originally intended to be an exercise in storing all of the config data externally, it turned out to be a huge pain in the ass to customize - something like thirty different-yet-interrelated settings. This time around, I relied more on setting and defining visual elements in the IDE. A bigger swf, but a hell of a lot easier to maintain.

A condensed skin is a good idea. Possibly in the left column. Once I know how to rank the results of the query for album info from AWS, I may also add a link back to Amazon for each track. The first result is usually correct (or close enough), but every now and then a search will produce something random - like Queen for M. Ward.

As for the cock knuckles... Probably not. As it is now, there are only one or two regular listeners. If the subscriber count starts to climb I'll worry about it, but by then my work will be done and I can take it down.

So, give us an overview. Are the songs on your own server? How large are you likely to make the catalogue of tracks?

Yep, the songs are on my own server. There aren't any plans to expand it beyond the current two hundred tracks both for reasons of space and keeping things fresh.

Still trying to figure out how to smooth the album covers.
