I was hoping to get some recommendations on where to go online for biz card printing. I know there was a thread about this a long time ago, but I couldn't find it searching. I bookmarked the sites talked about, but have long lost the bookmarks.
Thx.

sorry, I don't have any experience with an 'online' biz card printer...
but I do have a local printer I recommended to the last person I designed cards for
the client for the cards was in Texas and the printer is here in Rocklin, CA
I had the client check and compare, they chose to go with the folks I recommended and dealt with them directly...
they have the best website ever oceanshoreprinting.com/
Ask for Joe or Molly [Joe's Daughter]
nice folk, I've known Joe for more than fifteen years [had a good friend that used to run presses for him on the night shift]
they do all the business cards for the company I work for
all you can do is compare, right?
cheers~

I've used:
zoo printing (zooprinting.com) and vista print (vistaprint.com/) - both were fine.
4x6 is ok, but pricey.
Honestly - I prefer finding a local business though. Building a relationship with a local firm is good on so many levels. The benefits far outweigh the (usually negligible) costs.
In Chicago - I recommend Lake County Press (which has an online portal - lakecountypress.com) Darwill press (darwill.com) and Rohner Letterpress (far and away the best art letterpress crew I've worked with - rohnerletterpress.com/)

I've found overnightprints.com to be pretty good, and pretty cheap. I've never tried an overnight 'rush' shipment from them, but I've been happy with their cards.

Vistaprint has their shit together. But as my man R_D said, going local is always a great option. It can leads to deals on larger projects, and if something goes wrong, you have a brick & mortar shop available to help.
