Hey guys, what do you think is the best Open Source CMS out there?? I'd like something super simple that i can use to create new pages and allow my clients to update copy/pictures on their site. No blogs or anything, just basic pages (ie. about, contact, etc.). I want something thats very lightweight and easy for me to install and easy for the client to figure out the backend control panel. I was thinking of using Wordpress for this, but I'd like something not so focused on blogs.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Textpattern is ok, and it is not necessarily blog software.
A little of a learning curve for you to set up, but the client part ( edit, upload images ) etc is piss-easy.
I have a friend who raves about Joomla, but I find it limiting.. but then I like to roll my own. It is very powerful in terms of what modules are available free.

Have you looked at exponent?

The big selling point for us is that it allows clients to edit-in-place. Clients "get it" straight away. It takes a bit of getting used to the skinning etc. but if you know your Smarty you should be ok.
One area it is let down in is SEF urls, but the developers are working on that in the new release.

maybe moveable type or something like that? Similar to WP and Textpattern, but not necessarily focused on blogs either.
Drupal is another option for you, but is probably a bit too much for what it sounds like you need.

For ease of use I recommend Website Baker.
edit: Exponent looks pretty good actually. I like how they treat modules from the admin side.
