I'm having trouble setting up mysql on my mac running xampp. Can someone help me?

This is the current condfg file.

What error are you getting?

First thing is to check these:

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user'] = 'root';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = '';

and make sure they're correct.
