swampy Flash embedded video

anyone know why video embedded in flash would be shorter than the actual video clip itself? frame rate? compression?

60 second video is 50 seconds when viewed in the swf

have no personal exp, but it sounds like it must be a frame rate thing - like a video made at 24fps being played back in a SWF playing at 30fps?

"anything invented before you were 18 has been there forever, anything that turns up before you're 30 is new and exciting, and anything after that is a threat to the world and must be destroyed."

exactly.

When you embed video it will play back at the same rate as your movie.

Either change the move frame rate to be the same as the video or encode the video as an flv to the desired frame rate (limited options) and import that.
