Hey all -

The company I work for is Emmis Interactive. I first started here as a freelancer back in 2002, and got to work on a flower-power iMac that we dug out of a hallway closet. Fast forward six years later and what started as a small group of 4 folks... has since blossomed into a fully-fledged company, at about 40 strong.

This past year, we've seen significant growth - both in terms of personnel and clients. And we expect that trend to continue.

Right now, we're looking to hire on more folks. Specifically, we're looking for both Graphic Designers and Designers who are well-versed in HTML/CSS. The job postings are for:

Jr. Designer / Web Production

I've got a more in-depth description posted over on my blog. I've got a lot of links back to the early days of the company, as well as where we are now. For anyone out there who's checked in on my blog... there's a ton of stuff on there about the company. I'm certain you can get a sense of what the environment/people are like, looking around.

So you know - I'll be one of the folks reviewing portfolios, and I will be the one ultimately making the hiring decisions. While I can't promise anything, I can promise you I'll be straight-up about what we're after, what the company's about, and the types of skills we're looking for at the moment.
