I'm in the middle of building a list of differences between the theatrical and special editions of the world's most incredible movies. It will take me many hours but I know it's totally worth it because millions of other people like me will want to know exactly what has changed. I'm going to watch every single frame and compare compression ratios, too -- there are rumors that the special edition uses higher compression than the theatrical version because they needed to fit more movie onto the same-sized disc.

If that IS in fact true it'll be a GRAVE INJUSTICE and I will personally send a very strongly-worded email to Peter Jackson on behalf of ALL fans!!!!!! Who knows, perhaps a fair lady will witness my exploits and show up to save me with her golden vagina (even though I feel those things are really icky... I mean BLOOD comes out of them)!
